Our team have collected together their favourite ways to use Sustomi beeswax food wraps to create five zero waste lunch ideas. Food that is simple to prepare, healthy to eat, and brings you happiness when you open your lunch box. Lunch times can be a moment of calm in a busy day, a chance to get some fresh air and catch up with friends. What were our categories for choosing these five delicious back to school or work lunch ideas? We looked for food that was fresh, in season and simple to prepare. Also for foods that are colourful and interesting, you want to open you lunch and be intrigued! Additionally we wanted minimally processed foods, without preservatives and additives. All the recipes below are available free, online from each of the chef’s websites. Each of these recipes you can wrap up in your beeswax food wrap (but remember to keep sauces and dressings in a separate sealed container). Take some cutlery with you, your reusable water bottle and cup, then you are all set for an enjoyable mid-day break!

This recipe comes from Jamie Oliver’s 15 minute meals book so you know it is going to be simple to prepare! You can make it your own by combining different ingredients and try out new flavour combinations.

DAY 2. DELICIOUS SALADS

Maggie Beer’s Chickpea, Beetroot and Roasted Pumpkin Salad!

This is a delicious, healthy and simple to prepare salad. We do also like her grilled cauliflower, almonds, kale and currants salad!

DAY 3. ROLLS WITH A TWIST

Jamie Oliver’s Squash it Sandwich

This sandwich roll is full of fresh veggies and some fruit! You can mix it up and try different combinations. It is all in the cutting, no cooking required!

DAY 4. NOODLE SALAD

Maggie Beer’s Udon Noodles with Fresh Herb Salad

You can wrap the noodles for this salad in one wrap and the herbs in another so that you mix together when you are ready to eat. Bring the vignette in a small container.

DAY 5. SUMMER PIZZA
